In The Tracks of Memory is a collaborative project between composers Klive and Nigel Humberstone (In The Nursery), academics Brendan Stone and David Forrest (Storying Sheffield) and filmmaker Alex Keegan.
The film uses footage from a collection of Sheffield transport films, interspersed with memories and anecdotes from today’s Sheffield residents, and has an original soundtrack composed by Klive and Nigel. It paints a vivid picture of the city, from the Edwardian period, through the 50s and 60s to the present.
